Much like social media where its Facebook cover videos this and Instagram stories that. The overload and overwhelm is very real. And that can make mastering social media challenge. Where does one even start?
As part of our ongoing blog series, this week we’re focusing on Commun.it’s new Best Time feature which takes the guesswork out of scheduling social media posts. That’s right – one less thing to worry about because this feature determines what’s the best time to post on different social networks. Thanks to this new feature, you can say goodbye to some unnecessary social media overwhelm.
Why is this so exciting?
Deciding what’s the right time to post on social media is often half the battle. While there are social media best practices which suggest that Thursday is the best day to post on Facebook and Monday through Thursday is best for Twitter, this may not work for everyone.
These well-meaning guidelines fail to take into account that every social media community is its own unique ecosystem. What works for one user probably won’t work for another. That’s why we’re so thrilled with our new Best Time feature.
This feature was designed to optimize your social media scheduling to suit your community and time zone. We make sure that any posts you schedule are sent when your community is most active. This means you can rest assured that your posts have the best chance of getting as much exposure and engagement as possible. But it also means that you don’t ever have to worry about overwhelming or inundating your community.
Yes, let’s do this! How can I get started?
We designed the Best Time feature to be intuitive and user-friendly. To get started, we recommend you start by clicking Best Time Settings under the Schedule dashboard. Here you can configure the feature and select how many posts you plan on sending daily, the timeframe as well as which days you’d like to post on. We use this data to create a personalized posting schedule for you. It’s important to keep in mind that these settings will be applied to all your social media profiles.
When you’re ready to send your first post, click on the Scheduled Posts tab and then Schedule New Post.
Once you’ve added your tweet to the post box, click the Best Time button. This will add the post to your personalized posting scheduling. And that’s it! It’s really as simple as that.
